Quo-Lab® HbA1c is a semi-automatic benchtop analyzer for measuring glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c). The semi-automatic analyzer has been designed specifically to meet the needs of diabetic clinics and laboratories in environments where low cost of operation and ease of use are required. With a simple procedure, Quo-Lab provides laboratory accurate test results within four minutes (CV <3% at 7% A1c) from a venous or finger prick blood sample of only 4 µL. Step-by-step instructions are shown on a clear, multilingual display. Therefore, staff training time can be minimized and the possibility of error is reduced.  Quo-Lab HbA1c can store over 7000 results, which can be downloaded as text files to a PC via the built-in USB interface. Alternatively, results can be printed using a printer that connects via the serial port. Quo-Lab has received the CE mark and is available for sale in most global markets, subject to local registration requirements

Principle of operation
The principle of operation of the analyzer is based on measuring the value of fluorescence intensity that occurs during the passage of a biological sample through a special cartridge with a reagent - fluorophore (eosinphenylboronic acid), in which fluorophore emission occurs. The amount of photons emitted as a result of fluorescence is converted by the analyzer into the concentration of glycated hemoglobin relative to total hemoglobin and displayed on the analyzer display in mmol/mol or %.
